        Sticks

How much the sticks do for how far you push them. Centre is how much small pushes count, max how quickly a bigger push builds to the full amount: a low centre gives fine control near the middle and still a full turn at the edge. The dashed line is a straight response.

        Leaning on the board

How hard the board carves and trims for how far you lean. Centre is how much small movements count, max how quickly a bigger lean builds to a full turn: a low centre and a high max keep small wobbles gentle and still let you turn hard. The dashed line is the old straight response. You can change these in VR too, and see where your own lean sits on the graph.

On a phone or tablet, held sideways. Where your finger first touches decides what it does until you lift it, so a paddle stroke that starts high on the right and runs down into the look area never turns the view.

        Tilt

        leftrightforwardback

Tilt your phone: the dot should follow it (right edge down moves it right, top edge away from you moves it up).

        Tilt directions

Hold the phone the way you play, then recalibrate: that becomes level, and the game works out which way up the screen is from which edge is higher. If tilting still steers the wrong way (some tablets), turn the directions until the dot follows your tilt.

How much tilting the phone does. Centre is how much small tilts count, max how quickly a bigger tilt builds to the full amount.

        Takes effect after a reload.
